Formerly the Michigan School Readiness Program, the Great Start Readiness Program is a free preschool for eligible familes that meet "at risk" criteria as set forth by the Michigan Department of Education.

Our goal is to meet the physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs of the children through various classroom activities and experiences.

Classes are available in both the morning and afternoon and run Monday through Thursday.  Your child will be taught by certified staff who will help prepare your child for kindergarten in the Western School District.

• Child must reside within Western School District.
• Child must be 4 years old by December 1st.
• Child must meet at least two "at risk" criteria determined by the State of Michigan.
• Child must be current with immunizations.
• Parent/guardian must be able to provide birth certificate.
